JohnnyIron's Reviews

The Defender Series Realtree camo iPhone 5 case offers solid protection that will keep your iPhone 5 not only safe from the elements, but from your clumsiness too. A multi-layered design makes the Defender Series the best defense for your phone in your active lifestyle. A two-piece plastic inner shell snaps together to form a cushion around the iPhone 5. A screen protector is built into the inner shell to prevent scratches and smudges to the glass display. The outer rubber layer wraps around the inner-shell to make it a virtually indestructible camo iPhone 5 case. Stand out by blending in with the Defender Series Realtree camo iPhone 5 case from OtterBox, the only smartphone case available with Realtree Xtra and Xtra Green camo patterns. This is my first Otterbox case. It is big, but if you want to protect your phone, it has to be big to get the cushion for fall protection.
It does fit great, is very good quality overall, but the Realtree panel on back looks and feels like a cardboard sticker. Only Time will tell if this panel will last as long as the rest of the case.
The belt clip is strong, but takes some getting use to as far as getting the phone out, if it is not sitting horizontal. I think I tested the drop protection a few times getting use to the clip!
I would buy this again, but would not pay $10 more for a cardboard back panel.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: cardboard like camo panel
