I take my IPad to the mountains often so I was looking for a tough reliable case and after reading many reviews, I decided to give it a try. The fit and finish of the product are great. Putting the IPad inside was not hard. I did find that when I need to use a card reader that will not fit into the port, I really don’t want to take the cover back off and risk stretching the silicone that surrounds the screen just so I can fit the accessory reader in. I have also had a problem with the fold out part that supports the screen. One of the little pins that the part pivots on broke off so now I have to carefully unfold it to prevent one side of it to detach from the cover. When taking pictures, I need to remove the snap on cover and lay it down while using the camera. Still with these few flaws, I would most likely buy another defender case for an IPad. I have yet to see another case that protects the machine so well.
Pros: High quality, outstanding shock and weather protection
Cons: some accessories will not plug in due to size, must remove lid to shoot photos
