I received my MotoX in the mail and went straight to the Verizon store to activate and pick up a case. I've always purchased the Defender series because Commuter series was not what I expected for the price and the quality IMHO is subpar. For the Defender case, it is made somewhat good and is not bulky like you would expect. There is a gap between the built-in screen protector and the MotoX screen so you would need to push a little to get some response when using your phone. Not the experience you would want with a smartphone. Then there's an opening at the top of the screen for the sensor/receiver in which dust from you pockets and get into and get between the screen. If you have sand/dirt in you pocket, it will get in the case and may scratch your screen. Even the Verizon rep told me to put on a screen protector on first before i get it into the case. If you have to go that far, then purchase Incipio cases. They are cheaper and provide the same protection. Or you can go with the Commuter if you want to remain faithful to Otterbox. I've read forums where people would take out the built-in and put their own protectors and use the case. Then why buy the Defender? I wouldn't recommend spending money on this case. I will be returning mine later today.
Pros: it's a defender
Cons: poor built-in screen protection, openings in case defeat purpose of protection

 iPhone 4/4S Armor Series Case
iPhone 4/4S Armor Series Case
The Armor Series iPhone 4/4S waterproof case can handle 30 minutes in 6.6 ft of water, 10 ft drop, allow zero entry of dust and sustain 2 tons of crushing force. It’s the toughest case ever built.

I've owned OB Defender case and switched up to Lifeproof. Heard of OB's Armor series for iPhone 4s and wanted to see how well it worked. Well, for protection it's great. Good seal all around and does what it says: dust proof, waterproof, and so on. But just like the Lifeproof case, it shares the same flaws. When on the phone, users on the other end hear my voice as muffled. When doing the speakerphone feature, it is not as loud. And the big one for me is i like plugging in my headphones to listen to music but because of the case's thickness, the headphone jack i use does not go in all the way (unless your headphone jack is straight). So if you use your phone just to text and app use only, then the case will work. But if you do that and use it as a phone and listen to music, then you will be disappointed. All that protection for sacrificing some of the phones features, which are important to me. So i'll just get my money back and wait til OB releases a much improved Armor series product..... or stick with the competition.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: hinders use of headphone jack, low speaker volume, users hearing voice muffled

What are the dimensions

How big is the case?
The Moto X Defender case is not as bulky as most Defender cases are. The Moto X is slim and with the Defender on it fits well in the hand and in your pocket (unless you wear tight pants). The size is comparable to the iPhone 4s with a Mophie battery case but not even that heavy and bulky.
