The Otterbox Armor iPhone 5 case is great and works as it should to protect my precious phone from the elements. At the time I purchased the case I was disappointed that a holster did not come with the case given how much it cost. I have periodically scanned the Otterbox website for a solution to emerge and much to my amazement I came across the iPhone Armor Series Holster. I quickly made my purchase and awaited its arrival. Unfortunately, that's where the love affair ends. As soon as I opened the package I could tell that this product was going to further turn a sleek phone into a brick. Upon further inspection I was dismayed at the following: One, the top or lid of the case seems to be made out of rubber and closes by way of under powered magnets. For me, the lid felt as though it would pop open with minimal effort. Second, the belt clip isn't really a clip but rather a piece of folded plastic and this didn't work for me and my intended use. All in all, the Armor Case plus holster created a package just shy of a small box of tissues that weighs substantially more. I would have loved a simple holster design with a cupped bottom and a clipping mechanism at the top - as seen on several prior blackberry cases. I will be returning this product.
Pros: Durable
Cons: bulky, closure mechanism poorly designed, belt clip poorly designed
