The first case I received was problematic. I had a very hard time pressing the buttons and the screen protector did not work as well as any of the previous cases I've used from Otterbox. I called them and they replaced the case. Very good customer service! They even let me change the color due to the fact it looked horrible after only two days use. The replacement case seems to be a little better. The buttons are much easier to use. The screen protector... Still needs work. But it's better. I love the new design though! It's not as blocky as the previous defenders due to the new design of the phone. I am pleased with the replacement for now.
Pros: feels great in the hand.

Preserver Series for iPhone 5S
Highly protective waterproof iPhone 5s case for all those spontaneous moments of fun.
So over the past week I have purchased the lifeproof nuud case, lifeproof fre case and the otterbox preserver. The nuud and fre are back at the store and the preserver is on my iPhone 5s. I was in love with lifeproof when I had my iPhone 4s. I bought the case, put it on and the phone never left it until I sold it to AT&T to get my new 5s. Imo lifeproof has gone the wrong direction and otterbox is going in the right one. Strange though considering otterbox bought them. Anyway, mixed reviews are all I got about this case searching online so I figured I'd leave my opinion. Everyone either loves this case or hates it and tells everyone that the people that love it aren't telling the truth about the case quality. The thing is, if you don't want problems with sound then don't buy a waterproof case. That's the bottom line! This case amplifies sound in a way that it sounds a little distorted. But not muffled. If you ever can't hear through the ear speaker just take a deep breath and blow the water out of it. After that you'll be turning your volume down because it'll be to loud. Trust me, I am hard hearing and I have to turn it down. I also have not had the fingerprint sensor fail at ALL since I put the case on. I didn't even reprogram it like I had to do with both lifeproof cases. I'm not trying to bash lifeproof at all. But those cases should not cost more than $50 imo. So if you're on the fence about this case, just get it. Worst thing that could happen is you won't like it and have to take it back. I'm very picky about how my phone sounds and functions and I'm telling you. This is a great case for an apple iPhone!
Pros: High quality, Durable, buttons are very clicky!
