The otterbox defender case, has fast become know as the go-to for top of the line, rugged protection for your smartphone.
The version of the case created for the new HTC One however, features a major flaw, that does not match the qaulity or expectations we have come to know from otterbox. The way this case is created, there is blank "Cut-Out" space in the screen protector, that goes around the camera and bottom speaker. Those cut out sections, create significant gaps between the screen protector, and the phone screen itself(large enough to fit the head of a "T" pin, or a paper clip). It renders Swype texting, all but impossible to use. I would highly recommend holding off on purchasing the defender case. Maybe go with the Commuter series that has the screen protector actually attached to the phone.
I have exchanged my purchase in-store, Twice already, and both cases have the same gap issue. I have spoken with Otterbox's fantastic support team, and they truly seem dedicated to fixing this issue. I have submitted feedback on a simple adjustment that would correct the design flaw. I am eagerly waiting to see how they fix this issue, as Otterbox is clearly committed to its customers. I am confident that they will not rest until we have a product that meets our needs and expectations.
Cons: design, dust/dirt entry

Want to know which Htc one otter box to order for the At&t phone

otter box
Get the Commuter Series. The Defender's screen protector leaves a significant gap between the screen and protector, and will cause inaccuracy with the touch screen.

Once the defender is revised, without a doubt the Defender case offers the most protection.
