If you choose to purchase this case for use on the Verizon version, do so at your own risk!
I am writing this review because I have seen a lot of questions regarding the Verizon version. I have the Verizon version of the G2, I also own both the commuter and defender and they will fit "they aren't perfect but it works until the Verizon version is released" From what I can tell by looking at some pictures of the AT&T G2 aside from the different sized buttons the back of the phone is more curved and doesn't have the "sharper" edge like the Verizon does.
I first purchased the commuter as it was the first available, like I said not perfect but it works, The phone fits in the rubber sleeve nicely. The plastic outer shell will fit around the phone nicely as well, it does thou have a slight gap on the top and bottom. The rear buttons work flawlessly, it made using the rear buttons way easier. The camera and flash are slightly un-centered but work fine. The IR and mic holes on the top aren't centered but function with no problem. The headphone jack, mic and charging port work with no problem. The only issue on the bottom is that it covers part of the speaker but I didn't notice much drop in sound quality or volume. The only issue I has the time I used the case is that it would pull off the right side of the screen slightly which was kindof annoying but manageable. I also already had the Verizon screen protector on the phone and elected not to use the one provided so I have no comment on the "quality" of it.
All in all this is a great case and hopefully they have plans to make a Verizon version. These will do for now to keep my phone protected so keep your fingers crossed!

I purchased the defender as soon as it came out, being that the commuter fit I figured the defender would as well. Right out of the box it will fit the Verizon version "it is a little tight thou" I didn't like how snug the plastic was around the phone so I made some small modifications. Using a small flat tipped screwdriver I essentially "carved" out the corners of the lower half of the case, this is to take care of that "sharper" edge on the back of the Verizon version. It still isn't perfect but it works great until the Verizon version comes out. If you've read my review on the commuter it is basically the same on the defender. There is only two slight issues with this case on the Verizon version and one is the possibility of the case "squeezing" the phone, I don't think it's a real issue but just so your aware. The only "real" issue I've noticed is that the built in screen protector is slightly raised from the screen, which at times makes using the screen annoying. It will still work great but you have to keep constant pressure to hold it to the screen.
All in all this is a great case and hopefully they have plans to make a Verizon version. These will do for now to keep my phone protected so keep your fingers crossed!
