I was waiting to get this product for my note 3! I have had a few otterbox cases with past iPhones. The issue with those was the rubber eroded and broke apart after about a year or a year and a half. I like this case allot. It makes my note 3 feel very solid. It has a good grip. And, the rubber feels heavier, and I am guessing it may hold up better than the Defenders I have had in the past with iPhone 4(s). I just bought my son a Defender for his iPhone 5c and it feels better too.
On this one: I never liked the front clipon panel. I don't use a belt clip. But, I didn't want a commuter case, I like the heavier one. I also struggle to clean the clear plastic front when I put it on for the first time. I *always* get dust between the plastic cover and the front glass. I may just cut it out someday.
Overall good!!!
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: clipon front is not useful

Would the defender fit on a Note 3 with a glass screen protector and the built-in defender screen removed?

I love this case, great quality and protection, but the built-in screen protector isn’t the best and distorts the HD quality.
Yes, I don't like the plastic screen protector. It traps dust and dirt and reduces the look of the screen
