I was afraid the Otterbox Defender was going to be too bulky on my massive phone, but it turned out great. There is no protection on the ear speaker with this case which is why I only gave it a "good" rating on protection. The design is great! I just wish the case was a different color. I like the Commuter case colors a lot better. They're like the Defender cases but the colors are backwards.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: not as customizable as i'd like

Battery swapping Samsung Galaxy Note 3?

I swap the battery out on an almost daily basis. Is it a fairly easy process and one that will not damage the otterbox over time (meaning approx 1 year of daily removal and replacement)?
The Defender series case isn't all that easy to remove. It is meant to give the best protection for your phone, which doesn't call for easy removal. If I were you I would look online for some videos of people removing the case, just to see how fast they can do it. If you're doing it every day I bet you can get pretty fast too! The Commuter series might have a different process, I'm not sure about that one.
