So far this is the best case I've found for the 5S not because I intend on swimming with my phone (though knowing that it is protected from water is always a good thing), but because knowing that the phone is fully protected on all sides is the piece of mind I'm looking for. I've had no problems with the speakers not sounding good, or the charging port not fitting, but I think that at times the fingerprint sensor may be affected by the covering over the home button (though it does work most of the time), and my biggest issue is the fact that the outside facing of the case wears at a much quicker rate than the rest of the case does. I originally purchased the pink case and the outside wore in such a way that it looked like it was getting very dirty and was unable to be cleaned, but thanks to Otterbox and their fantastic warrantee as well as their great customer service they switched me out for a pistachio colored case and so far it has been wearing a lot better than the pink one has, but seems to still show wear a bit faster than the Defender case ever did. Maybe if Otterbox could make the entire case out of the same material as the back of the case is then it would be the best case ever. Had it not been for the color wear issue I would have rated it excellent across the board.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: front half of case show wear very easily., fingerprint sensor works only about half the time.

Can you do a video demo of the iPhone 5S touch screen functionality with the Preserver case?

I have no video, but I can assure you that there are no problems using the touchscreen with the preserver case, the fingerprint sensor also works flawlessly in this case. Pretty much the same as having no case on your phone at all as far as the screen sensitivity goes. Love this case. Only flaw is that the color on the front portion of the case discolors something awful and cannot be cleaned.

Does this case need constant drying?

Whenever the case (and the phone) gets soaked in water, be it the pool, taking a shower, or getting caught in rain, does it need to be taken apart and dried again, or will the seals keep water from gradually seeping in? I don't want to warp the plastic or loosen the seals by constantly opening the case.
I take my phone out periodically to wipe it down and clean the screen on the case, but that's more me wanting to do that as opposed to it needing to be done.

Does the Preserver case require an adapter to plug in headphones into the jack? Secondly, would an "L" shaped headphone pin fit into the jack?

I've been able to use the straight plug that comes on all my headphones (including the ear buds) with this case and have had no issues.

Silent Button

Does anyone have a problem using this silent button? I had bought this case and could not get the button to work and was wondering if everyone has this problem or if mine was defective.
I had a little trouble when I first put my phone in the case, but I found that it was due to the way I set the phone in the case, upon taking it out and setting it back the correct way I've had no issues since. I actually like the silent switch type feature on this case.

How is the touch screen under water? Like does it work well?

can you have it in your pocket when you are in the pool

You can if you feel the need to swim with your phone, just test the case without the phone inside first (as per the directions) to make sure that there are no defects.
