Rugged. Great protection for the average user. Sustains normal drops. It would almost have to be a deliberate act to defeat the protection the case offers. My wife likes the ability to customize the color combos. Adds a lot of bulk to the device, so "pocket carriers" might find this annoying, but I don't mind the belt clip myself. Not a problem carried in my wife's purse . . . besides we both utilize "ear bugs" to converse. Considering the cost of a replacement device, I wouldn't be without my Otter Box.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: adds bulk to the device., a little clumsey to disassemble.

I bought an OtterBox Holster Case from ATT today for my new Samsung Galaxy S4. The package was thrown away before

was accidentally thrown out berfore I read the instructions. I have taken the phone case out of the holster. How do I separate the cover (with the screen guard) of the phone case from the back of the case so I can insert the phone?
The side with the window has slots, which tabs from the other side snap into. I always start at the end with the single "Snap Together" tab. I Lift the slot with the tip of a pocket knife and work toward the opposite end, alternating sides as I go. I suggest working over a folded towel, because the slick case on the S4 is hard to grip by the exposed edges, and has a tendency to "leap out" after the case is apart.
