Otterbox has taken everything I wanted in a case I was considering (the Lifeproof Fre) and upgraded it. The case is light and slim, but feels strong. I do not fear dropping it.
The waterproofing is amazing.
The only thing that concerns me is the plug for the headphone jack. When headphones are in, the plug is open very wide, and I worry about how long the integrity of the rubber will last (I had the same problem with the Defender, frequent opening and closing lead to wear and tear.
There is also slight rattle when playing music over the speakers or on speakerphone.
Pros: High quality, Durable, waterproof
Cons: slight rattle on loud audio

Silent Button

Does anyone have a problem using this silent button? I had bought this case and could not get the button to work and was wondering if everyone has this problem or if mine was defective.
I get my finger right along side and push with the side of my thumb, the opposite way the switch goes (silent up, ringer down)

Does this case need constant drying?

Whenever the case (and the phone) gets soaked in water, be it the pool, taking a shower, or getting caught in rain, does it need to be taken apart and dried again, or will the seals keep water from gradually seeping in? I don't want to warp the plastic or loosen the seals by constantly opening the case.
All that needs to be done is wipe the outside. No need to open.
