Don't get me wrong, this is the second Otterbox Defender I've purchased. For my old Samsung 4G Infuse and for my new Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. This new Defender has the same great case and feel of indestructibility....but Otterbox messed with the outer case! They took away the belt clip! Admittedly with a belt clip the Mega would be huge! But without a beltclip the outer protective case just got thrown in a desk drawer - never to be seen again! So this Mega version of the Otterbox Defender should be named "Otterbox Defender Lite!"
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: non functional outer case

Does the defender case for the Galaxy Mega include a belt clip?

NOPE!
And my critique downgrades Otterbox for removing the belt clip.
(I think what they should have done is allow for a removable belt clip or explain better why they don't include one.) My outer case has just been tossed into my desk drawer. Admittedly, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 with just the NORMAL Defender Otterbox is virtually indestructible in 90% of situations, AND slips into my pant and shirt (just!) pockets - but geez why do companies decide to "mess with success?"
