The Defender Series case for the iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4 is built for those of us on-the-go, have children or are generally graceless with electronics.

I now have every device I own protected by OtterBox Defender series cases. My devices have survived overseas travel, being dropped and fallen on. No, I'm not a klutz, just active.
I dropped my iPad encased in an OtterBox defender while juggling the leash of a 200 pound Mastiff. It landed on the corner and bounced, landing on the hard case cover for the screen. There was a very slight scuff on the hard case cover that I removed by the judicious use of a bit of rubbing compound.
Pros: rim depth protects device glass w/o hard case on.
Cons: more than 2 adjustments on stand angle

Will the camera connection kit fit in the case

See if the apple camera connection kit will fit in the otterbox defender for ipad securely.
If you are referring to the charging port, mine plugs in just fine. If you are referring to the waterproof box, then all my basic attachments fit with room to spare.
