The Defender Series case for the iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4 is built for those of us on-the-go, have children or are generally graceless with electronics.

Even better than I'd hoped for

This case replaced an early Otterbox iPad2 Defender case that I liked very much. I'm liking the increased fit and finish of the new design. (The flaps that cover switches and jacks work great now.) I thought the screen protector would bother me, but I like it. I'm very happy with my Defender case, and having it means I take my iPad everywhere.
Pros: better fit, screen protector
Cons: uneven plastic finish

Will the camera connection kit fit in the case

See if the apple camera connection kit will fit in the otterbox defender for ipad securely.
The Apple camera kit fits fine. I use the camera kit for feeding a headphone DAC/amp, and it works without a struggle. Earlier versions didn't fit so well.
